Nittaya e-commerce sales exceeded 100 million
Xinhua Bangkok, April 3 (You Dongjie) Recently, the Thai brand Nittaya officially announced its entry into the core merchant alliance "Yitian Hui" of China's Alibaba Juhuasuan platform, opening up a new channel for Thai rubber enterprises to enter the Chinese consumer market.
Nittaya entered the Chinese market in 2015, and conducted in-depth cooperation with Alibaba's Tmall International and Juhuasuan platforms under the recommendation of the Thai Ministry of Commerce. With the help of China's e-commerce platform, the brand quickly achieved a "zero breakthrough" in the Chinese market: in April 2015, Juhuasuan jointly sold Nittaya brand latex home textiles in Thailand. Nittaya recorded more than 45,000 orders in three days. In half a year, it occupied more than 60% of the sales ratio of Thai imported latex pillows on the Tmall platform, and achieved the sales expectation of 100 million yuan (RMB). In March 2016, Nittaya officially announced its entry into "Yitian Club", becoming a representative benchmarking brand in the rubber industry and opening up a new channel for Thai rubber enterprises to enter the Chinese consumer market.
It is reported that "Yitian Association", as the newly established core business alliance of Alibaba's Juhuasuan e-commerce platform, has set a high threshold for membership. For example, a single period of activity turnover of more than 10 million (except for the big promotion activities), annual sales of 100 million yuan, with a high investment marketing plan and other related qualifications of the brand can be selected. On this basis, group brands, brands with high reputation and good reputation at home and abroad, and potential brands with fast sales growth will be given priority for approval.
For the status quo of the Chinese e-commerce market where Thai products are selling well, Wu Thitchai, deputy Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand, said that with the deepening of economic and trade exchanges between Thailand and China, Chinese consumers continue to accept Thai characteristics of products, "Thai businesses have begun to try to send high-quality goods in agriculture, latex industry and other fields directly to China through Alibaba platform, and have reached a good turnover." Led to the development of related industries. This is also why Thailand wants to further deepen cooperation with China through e-commerce platforms."
